Job summary

ITW is seeking an assembly-line worker for its Washington operation. The role involves standing for long periods, using a tape measure and multiple hand tools, and performing duties at either a line or sub-assembly station.

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and proficiency in reading and following written and verbal instructions. Shifts run Monday through Thursday, 5am–3:30pm, with standard safety practices across all tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required and must be 18 years old.
• Good mechanical aptitude is mandatory.
• May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand, squat, or kneel for the entire shift.
• Good attendance and ability to work safely are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks on an assembly line or sub-assembly station.
• Use tape measure and various hand tools per safety methods.
• Operate hand drill, screw gun, and staple gun as directed.
• Work independently toward team goals.
• Ensure safe operation and maintain quality standards.
• May drive a forklift when required.
• Follow schedules and established processes.
