ITW Food Equipment Group is seeking an assembler to build refrigerated and heated units. The role involves following travelers and drawings to assemble, weld, crimp, and wire diverse components, ensuring quality and safety at every step.

You will measure, cut, and install parts, operate related tools and equipment, and inspect finished units for conformance with standards. Shift runs 6:00am–2:30pm, OT as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Follow verbal and written instructions for assembly procedures.
• Read part requirements and production diagrams to determine materials.
• Proficient with hand and power tools and safe operation.
• Read a tape measure and verify dimensions precisely.
• May require wiring testing equipment knowledge or experience.
• Familiarity with refrigeration components is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Assemble parts according to job travelers and blueprints.
• Install refrigeration components into cabinets per specifications.
• Operate spot-welding and punch machines as required.
• Drill holes and mount brackets per drawings and BOM.
• Test wire assemblies and replace defective parts.
• Maintain clean work area and follow safety rules.
• Coordinate with supervision on parts shortages and delivery.
