Job summary

ICW Group is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Claims Clerk to be the first point of contact for customers reporting injuries. You will intake new claims by phone, email, or fax and begin processing in our ERP system, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least one year of related experience, and strong communication skills to interact with insureds, agents, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience and/or training; or, equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer care and service to insureds.
• Receives and intakes new initial claim documentation via phone, e-mail, or fax and enters into claim systems.
• Reviews insurance policy information to determine coverage.
• Completes data entry for all first reports of injury.
• Determines severity of injuries and advises the appropriate staff within SOPs.
• Communicates with insureds, agents, internal and external stakeholders, as necessary.
• Assists examiners in contacting insureds or other involved persons to obtain missing information.
