Job summary

ICW Group in Orlando, FL is hiring a Claims Intake Associate to serve as the first point of contact for new injuries reported by customers, ensuring thoughtful handling in line with company standards.

You will intake and enter initial claim documents via phone, email, or fax, review policy coverage, perform data entry into ERP, and route questions to the right contacts. A high school diploma and 1 year of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience or training; or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service as the first point of contact for customers.
• Receives and intakes new initial claim documentation via phone, email, or fax and enters into claim systems.
• Reviews insurance policy information to determine coverage.
• Completes data entry for all first reports of injury.
• Determines severity of injuries and advises the appropriate levels of staff.
• Communicates with insureds, agents, internal and external stakeholders as necessary.
