Responsibilities

• Enter patient demographic, insurance, and contact information into the EHR.
• Verify patient identity and insurance eligibility and ensure data integrity.
• Obtain consents, authorizations, and signatures for treatment and billing.
• Explain financial responsibilities and collect payments as applicable.
• Greet patients and visitors, provide directions and assistance.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel patient appointments.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with staff to support efficient patient flow.
• Address incomplete or inaccurate registration information and follow up.
• Participate in required training to stay updated.
