Job summary

Paradies Lagardère in Austin is hiring a Cook I to deliver high-quality meals and a supreme dining experience for travelers. You will prepare and cook items following standardized recipes, assist with prep, and maintain a clean, organized workstation.

You must uphold our TRIFIC values, provide courteous service, and work in a fast-paced environment. Requires 1 year of cooking experience, ServeSafe certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs; high school diploma also preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 1 year of cooking experience in a high-volume or fast casual setting.
• ServeSafe Certification or equivalent required by state.
• Able to work unsupervised and demonstrate good judgment with guests.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service with a smile to guests and team members.
• Exceed First Class Service standards and follow branding and food safety requirements.
• Prepare food items following 100% recipe adherence and production directions.
• Assist with ordering, planning, and restocking food supplies as directed.
• Report equipment repairs and maintenance to management.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; adhere to safety protocols.
• Work well in a fast-paced environment; be detail oriented and able to multi-task.
