Job summary

Milwaukee Tool seeks a Firmware Test Engineer II to join our growing team in Wisconsin. You will translate requirements into clear, testable verification strategies, design tests for firmware features, and contribute automation using Python.

You will collaborate across firmware, hardware and software groups on Agile projects and help mature test assets and processes. The role requires a BS in EE/CE/CS or related field, 2+ years of verification experience, and familiarity with HIL and lab

Qualifications

• Review requirements for clarity, completeness and testability.
• Identify gaps, ambiguities, risks and traceability issues.
• Design and maintain test cases for firmware features with supervision.
• Support HIL test development by identifying interfaces and resources.
• Develop Python-based automated test scripts.
• Configure and execute tests using HIL systems and lab equipment.
• Analyze failures and isolate issues across software, firmware, hardware.
• Document results with clear, reproducible details.
• Collaborate in Agile projects and participate in reviews.
• Contribute reusable test assets and improve processes.
• Use Agile methods to define tasks, estimate, and track progress.
• Lead technical meetings and document outcomes.
