Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Firmware Test Engineer II to design, develop, and execute tests for embedded firmware used in our battery-powered systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure firmware meets all requirements during the new product development process.

Responsibilities include test plan development, automation support, data analysis, and mentoring junior engineers. Some travel may be required; a BS in EE/CE/CS and 2+ years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires BS in Electrical/Computer engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in verification/validation testing or related embedded areas.
• Experience with HW-in-the-loop testing and PCBA design is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute firmware test procedures for embedded systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate firmware against requirements.
• Lead test planning, peer-review of test designs, and automation efforts.
• Support agile product development and continuous improvement of test processes.
• Document technical results and present findings in meetings.
• Travel up to 10% for domestic/international engagements.
