Job summary

Alignment Engine Inc. in Chillicothe, Ohio, is seeking an embedded firmware engineer to advance NeuralSync DPU software. You will develop boot, management, telemetry, and update infrastructure on-site.

You will work at the hardware/software boundary on embedded firmware in C/C++/Rust, build board management and telemetry features, and maintain CI and release processes. BS in CE/CS/EE required, 4+ years of experience, and a path to apprenticeship and certification are offered.

Qualifications

• 4+ years embedded firmware development experience.
• Comfort at the hardware/software boundary.
• Experience with BMC/management controllers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded firmware in C/C++/Rust.

Alignment Engine Inc. ("Alignment") operates the high-performance computing and NeuralSync electronics-manufacturing operations at the Chillicothe Advanced Industrial Campus - a multi-employer industrial site in Chillicothe, Ohio, where advanced manufacturing and digital infrastructure operate side by side as the campus re-industrializes. We hire across the disciplines required to run our operations, on a rolling basis as capacity ramps.

The role.

Develop firmware for the NeuralSync DPU: boot, management, telemetry, and update infrastructure.

What you'll do:

• Debug hardware/firmware interactions at the bench
