Job summary

EY is seeking a Firewall Operations Solution Architect/Network Sensing Analyst to deploy, configure, and manage firewall and network sensing solutions across client environments. You will monitor traffic, analyze events, and respond to incidents to uphold network security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, cybersecurity, or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in network security operations focused on firewall management.
• Hands-on experience with firewall products.
• Familiarity with Check Point and Tufin.
• Experience with Splunk and network visibility tools like Netography.
• ITIL processes and ticketing systems knowledge.
• Security certifications (CISSP, Security+) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and optimize firewall solutions to establish security controls.
• Monitor network traffic and security events to identify threats.
• Analyze security incidents, perform root cause analysis and remediation.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate and respond to incidents.
• Develop and maintain firewall policies and documentation.
• Support security audits and assessments.
• Stay current with threats and security technologies.
• Assist in security awareness training for staff.
• Mentor junior analysts on firewall management and incident response.
