Job summary

EY is seeking a Firewall Operations Solution Architect/Network Sensing Analyst to deploy, configure, and manage firewall and network sensing solutions for client environments. You will monitor traffic, analyze events, respond to incidents, and help improve overall security posture.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and support change requests while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, cybersecurity or related field preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in network security operations with firewall focus.
• Hands-on experience with firewall products required.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles and best practices.
• Certifications such as CISSP or Security+ are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and optimize firewall solutions to establish effective security controls.
• Monitor network traffic and security events to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
• Analyze security incidents, perform root cause analysis and remediation.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate incidents and respond promptly.
• Develop and maintain firewall policies, rules, and documentation.
• Support security audits and assessments, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Stay current with threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.
• Assist in security awareness training for staff on firewall operations.
• Mentor junior analysts on firewall management and incident response.
