Job summary

EY is seeking a Firewall Operations Solution Architect/Network Sensing Analyst to deploy and manage firewall and network sensing solutions across client environments, ensuring optimal security and performance.

You will monitor events, analyze incidents, and collaborate with incident response teams to mitigate risks, while developing policies and supporting audits in a hybrid onsite/work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, cybersecurity, or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years in network security operations with firewall management experience.
• Hands-on experience with firewall products required.
• Knowledge of network protocols and security best practices.
• Familiarity with Checkpoint and Tufin; Splunk experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and optimize firewall solutions and security controls.
• Monitor network traffic and security events to detect threats.
• Analyze security incidents and perform root-cause remediation.
• Collaborate with incident response to investigate and respond to incidents.
• Develop firewall policies and maintain documentation for compliance.
• Support security audits and promote security standards.
• Stay updated on threats and security technologies to bolster posture.
• Assist in security awareness training for staff and mentor junior analysts.
