Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in network security operations with a focus on firewall management.
• Hands-on experience with firewall products.
• Proficiency with Checkpoint and Tufin; familiarity with Splunk and Netography.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing systems for incident management.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, Security+) are a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and optimize firewall solutions to establish effective security controls.
• Monitor network traffic and security events to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct thorough analysis of security incidents, including root cause analysis and remediation.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate and respond to security incidents.
• Develop and maintain firewall policies, rules, and documentation to align with best practices.
• Provide support for security audits and assessments, promoting adherence to security standards and policies.
• Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies to enhance the security posture.
• Assist in security awareness training for staff regarding firewall operations and network security best practices.
• Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on firewall management and incident response processes.
