Job summary

EY is hiring a Firewall Operations Solution Architect/Network Sensing Analyst to deploy and manage firewall and network sensing solutions across client environments. You will monitor traffic, analyze security events, and assist with incident response to uphold network integrity.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, support change requests, and ensure compliance with industry standards. The role emphasizes operational coverage and continuous security improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years in network security operations with firewall focus.
• Hands‑on experience with firewall products is required.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and security best practices.
• Experience with Checkpoint and Tufin; Splunk familiarity helpful.
• ITIL processes and ticketing systems experience; relevant certs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and optimize firewall solutions to enforce security controls.
• Monitor network traffic and security events to detect threats.
• Analyze security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and remediation.
• Collaborate with incident response teams for timely containment and resolution.
• Develop firewall policies, rules, and documentation aligned with standards.
• Support security audits and assessments; promote policy adherence.
• Stay current with threats and security technologies to improve posture.
• Assist in security awareness training on firewall operations and best practices.
• Mentor junior analysts on firewall management and incident response.
