Job summary

EY is seeking a Firewall Operations Solution Architect/Network Sensing Analyst to deploy and manage firewall and network sensing solutions across client environments. The role focuses on operational coverage, change requests, incident response, and maintaining network security posture with cross-team collaboration.

You will monitor traffic, analyze events, and enforce security policies while aligning with industry standards and EY's security practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in IT/cybersecurity or related field preferred.
• 2-3 years in network security operations with firewall focus.
• Hands-on experience with firewall products required.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and security best practices.
• Experience with Checkpoint and Tufin technologies.
• Experience with Splunk and network visibility tools.
• ITIL processes and ticketing experience; security certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and optimize firewall solutions to establish effective security controls.
• Monitor network traffic and security events to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
• Analyze security incidents, perform root cause analysis and remediation.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate and respond to incidents.
• Develop and maintain firewall policies, rules, and documentation for compliance.
• Support security audits and assessments; promote security standards.
• Stay current with threats and technologies to enhance security posture.
• Assist in security awareness training and mentor junior analysts.
• Mentor junior analysts on firewall management and incident response processes.
