Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Sales Outfitter - Firearms to provide friendly counter service, help customers select firearms and related merchandise, and ensure compliance with federal regulations.

The role emphasizes knowledge of firearms, safety, and excellent customer experience at the rifle/handgun counter in a retail setting. Part-time benefits are highlighted; training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 0-2 years of retail experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with firearms and hunting merchandise at the counter.
• Identify customer needs and make product recommendations.
• Promote store programs (CLUB membership, VOC, in-store pickup).
• Ensure 4473 forms are completed accurately.
• Demonstrate products to customers and maintain product knowledge.
• Organize and stock merchandise; keep area clean and well signed.
