Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Sales Outfitter - Firearms to assist customers at the gun counter and provide expert product knowledge in firearms and ammunition. You will greet customers, recommend gear, process purchases, and help maintain a safe, compliant shopping environment while staying current on ATF rules and Bass Pro promotions.

This is a part-time role requiring 21+ years old, high school diploma, and 0–2 years retail experience, with opportunities to grow in customer service and firearms

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 0–2 years of experience in Retail is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service at the firearms counter and greeting customers.
• Identify customer needs and make product recommendations based on analysis.
• Promote Bass Pro promotions and CLUB membership programs at point of sale.
• Ensure 4473 forms are completed accurately and thoroughly.
• Demonstrate products to customers when appropriate.
• Organize and maintain firearm merchandise and pricing on the floor.
• Replenish stock and keep shelves clean and well stocked.
• Remain knowledgeable through ongoing product knowledge training.
• Follow all company policies and procedures; perform other duties as assigned.
