Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is hiring a Sales Outfitter - Firearms to maintain counter sales and customer service for firearms and hunting merchandise. You will greet customers, assess needs, and guide purchasing decisions in a fast-paced retail environment.

Role includes ensuring accurate 4473 form completion, product knowledge, and upkeep of gun counter displays, with occasional stock replenishment and adherence to policies. 21+ and prior retail exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years of retail experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Knowledge of firearms and ammunition preferred.
• Understanding of ATF Federal and State regulations helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a prompt, friendly manner.
• Identify customer needs and recommend products accordingly.
• Promote programs such as CLUB membership, VOC, and in-store pickup.
• Ensure 4473 forms are completed accurately.
• Demonstrate firearms and related products to customers.
• Maintain gun counter displays and merchandise organization.
• Restock shelves per merchandising guidelines and keep area clean.
• Stay up-to-date on sales and pricing; follow company policies.
