Bass Pro Shops in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Sales Outfitter - Firearms to support counter sales and customer service for firearms and related hunting merchandise. You will identify customer needs, demonstrate products, promote programs, and ensure accurate 4473 completion while maintaining clean, well-stocked gun counter area.

Previous retail experience is welcome; 21+ years old and a high school diploma or equivalent are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years retail experience.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Knowledge of Firearms and Ammunition.
• Knowledge of ATF Federal and State Regulations and the GCA.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers promptly in a friendly manner.
• Identify customer needs and make product recommendations for firearms and hunting merchandise.
• Complete 4473 forms thoroughly and accurately.
• Organize and maintain merchandise at the gun counter and stock shelves.
• Keep work area clean, neat, and well stocked; follow store policies and procedures.
• Promote programs (CLUB membership, VOC, In-Store Pickup) and assist with seasonal floor moves.
