Responsibilities include greeting customers, giving product guidance, maintaining displays, processing transactions, and staying informed about industry trends to provide informed recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create a welcoming atmosphere in the firearms department.
• Engage customers to understand needs, preferences, and budget using our engagement model.
• Provide expert guidance and unbiased recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with all firearms laws and store policies.
• Complete required firearms compliance training and SOP understanding.
• Assist customers in selecting ammunition, accessories, and related products.
• Maintain organized, labeled, and properly priced firearms displays.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Stay up to date on firearm trends and products to provide informed recommendations.
• Listen to customer concerns and resolve issues or escalate as needed.
• Build long-term relationships to generate repeat business and referrals.
• Demonstrate product features, conduct demonstrations, and explain specs.
• Use upselling and cross-selling to maximize sales.
• Promote RK Firearms Plus Protection Plan and store loyalty program.
• Handle special orders, operate POS, and resolve returns as needed.
• Support visual merchandising and keep sales floor clean, safe, and attractive.
• Participate in cross-training and training initiatives to stay current.
• Provide friendly, proactive internal and external support.
