Rural King is seeking a Firearms Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service and expert guidance on firearms and related accessories. You will help customers find products, explain features, and ensure regulatory compliance in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, advising on purchases, processing transactions, maintaining displays, and staying updated on industry trends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; firearms safety training is a plus.
• Previous firearms sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws regarding firearms sales and transfers.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to engage customers effectively.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Provide expert guidance and unbiased recommendations on firearms and accessories.
• Ensure compliance with laws governing firearms sales and transfers.
• Operate the POS register and handle transactions.
• Maintain organized, labeled firearm displays.
• Stay updated on firearm trends and product knowledge.
• Upsell and promote RKFPPP and loyalty programs.
