Job summary

Scheels All Sports, Inc. seeks Gun Customer Service associates to greet customers, handle transactions, and ensure compliance with ATF laws. The role requires assisting with firearm background checks and Gun Room upkeep, while delivering a personalized customer experience.

Schedule is flexible, with hours between 1 p.m. and 9 p.m., including some weekends and holidays; approx. 20 hours per week. High school diploma or GED preferred, cash handling experience a plus.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, and/or 1-3 months of cashiering experience.
• Experience greeting customers and processing transactions accurately is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers with a smile and provide friendly service.
• Accurately scan items and ensure proper payment at checkout.
• Promote the Scheels Visa card and explain benefits.
• Process firearm background checks and related transactions.
• Assist with Gun Room housekeeping and ensure ATF compliance.
• End each interaction with a courteous thank you to the customer.
