Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking a Compliance Specialist I to ensure operations meet Federal Firearms regulations.

This role collaborates with manufacturing, Sales, Customer Service, Engineering, and ATF/LE agencies, supporting documentation and compliance tasks. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of detailed-focused experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and familiarity with Oracle and internal inventory systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of professional work experience in a role requiring a high level of detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Oracle experience and internal inventory systems are preferred.
• Must clearly convey ideas verbally and in writing to internal teams, partners, and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

• Manage and review compliance documentation, ensuring accuracy in submissions and records.
• Perform daily NFA reservations and electronic manufacturing reports.
• Complete and submit necessary NFA forms.
• Manage open orders and allocations related to NFA.
• Conduct daily ATF traces and manage NFA cycle counts.
• Update FFLs in Oracle and internal systems.
• Support Sales and Shipping with order holds and shipments.
• Ensure daily put-away, picking, and shipments are completed.
• Process receipt transactions on the day received.
• Assist in correcting serial number and account discrepancies.
• Assist with daily cycle counting.
• Identify issues, analyze data, and develop compliance solutions.
