SALARY: $20-27/HOUR, DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test Fire Alarm/Sprinkler systems and their components to ensure proper functionality.
  • Document any deficiencies found during inspections and tests.
  • Ensure customers understand the functionality of their systems.
  • Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
  • Follow all safety regulations and practices.
  • Maintain an open-minded willingness for continual learning.
  • Adhere to all Koorsen policies, procedures, and core values.
  • Perform any other duties deemed appropriate by management.
Required Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of mechanical experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Experience with electronic testing devices.
  • Pass drug and background screenings.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to meet state licensing requirements and vendor certifications.
  • Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Fire Alarm Manufacturer's Certifications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Basic understanding of IT functionality.
  • NICET certification.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to safely and effectively use hand and power tools.
  • Lift and carry at least 75 lbs.; push and pull more than 75 lbs.
  • Climb ladders reaching at least 12 feet; operate man lifts; reach heights over 40 feet.
  • Exposure to outdoor weather, temperature changes, and loud noises.
  • Must be able to talk, hear, sit, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms during work.
Hiring Process:

In addition to an interview, new hires must complete the I-9 Verification form within three days of employment to verify identity and right to work in the U.S., as required by law. Employment eligibility will also be verified via E-Verify. Background checks, including criminal records and DMV checks, are required for all positions. Substance abuse testing through urinalysis is required if an employment offer is made.
