Job Title: Fire Suppression Systems Inspector

Salary: $74,000.00 - $104,000.00 per year

Job Summary: As a Fire Suppression Systems (Extinguisher, E-Lights, Hood) Inspector, you will be responsible for completing service requests at various locations within your territory. We seek professional, state-licensed Fire Suppression Systems Inspectors. Your duties include inspecting and testing Fire Suppression Systems to ensure they function effectively and meet NFPA standards, adjusting or repairing malfunctioning systems, and performing basic sprinkler inspections. We look for dependable self-starters with a “Can Do” attitude to work efficiently in our fast-paced environment.

Job Duties / Responsibilities

1. Schedule Fire Suppression Systems inspections
2. Run tests and inspections on Fire Suppression Systems
3. Coordinate with local fire departments to avoid response during testing
4. Repair systems if necessary or inform the Service Department of customer needs
5. Advise customers of test and inspection results
6. Maintain excellent communication with your Area Coordinator regarding inspections, rescheduling, etc.
7. Ensure good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills

Full-Time Position

1. 40+ hours weekly, responsible for meeting service calls efficiently
2. Identify emergencies and respond quickly to support customers
3. Use geographical maps, Google Maps, and understand maps for scheduling

Customer Service Oriented

1. Manage incoming calls with customers and office staff
2. Keep thorough documentation of service calls
3. Perform other duties as needed

Job Qualifications & Requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years post-high school education preferred
2. Good communication and interpersonal skills
3. Basic skills using Apple iPad
4. Ability to work M-F 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and be flexible
5. Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. and use an 8-ft ladder
6. Electrical/low voltage certification and/or construction background a plus
7. Valid driver’s license required
8. Travel: 100%, remote work
