Job Title:

Fire Sprinkler Systems Inspector

Salary:

$74,000.00 - $104,000.00 per year

Job Summary:

As a fire sprinkler system inspector, you will be responsible for completing service requests at various locations throughout your territory. We seek professional, state-licensed Fire Sprinkler Inspectors. Inspect and test fire sprinkler systems to ensure they function effectively and meet NFPA standards. Adjust or repair malfunctioning systems and perform basic sprinkler inspections. We are looking for a dependable, self-starter with a "Can Do" attitude to work efficiently in our fast-paced environment.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Schedule fire sprinkler system inspections
• Test and inspect fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems
• Coordinate with local fire departments to avoid response during testing
• Repair systems if necessary or inform the Service Department of customer needs
• Advise customers of test and inspection results
• Maintain excellent communication with Area Coordinator regarding inspections, rescheduling, etc.
• Ensure good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills

Position Details:

• Full-time position, 40+ hours weekly
• Responsible for meeting service calls efficiently
• Identify emergencies and respond promptly to support customers
• Use maps, Google Maps, and understand geographic information for scheduling

Customer Service Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming calls with customers and office staff
• Keep thorough documentation of service calls
• Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years post-high school education preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic skills with Apple/Android tablets
• Ability to work M-F 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with flexibility
• Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. and use an 8-ft ladder
• NICET certification and/or fire sprinkler background is a plus
• Valid driver’s license required
• 100% travel, remote work
