Job Title:

Fire Sprinkler Systems Inspector (Licensed)

Salary:

$74,000.00 - $104,000.00 per year

Job Summary:

As a fire sprinkler system inspector, you will be responsible for completing service requests at various locations within your territory. We seek professional, state-licensed Fire Sprinkler Inspectors. Your duties include inspecting and testing fire sprinkler systems to ensure they function effectively and meet NFPA standards, repairing malfunctioning systems, and performing basic sprinkler inspections. We are looking for a dependable, self-starting individual with a positive attitude to work efficiently in our fast-paced environment.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Schedule fire sprinkler system inspections.
2. Conduct tests and inspections on fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems.
3. Coordinate with local fire departments to avoid response during testing.
4. Repair systems if necessary or inform the Service Department of customer needs.
5. Advise customers of test and inspection results.
6. Maintain excellent communication with your Area Coordinator regarding inspections, scheduling, etc.
7. Ensure good written and verbal communication skills, along with interpersonal skills.

Full-Time Position:

• 40+ hours weekly, responsible for meeting service calls efficiently.
• Identify emergencies and respond promptly to support customers.
• Use geographical maps and Google Maps for scheduling effectively.

Customer Service:

• Manage incoming calls with customers and office staff.
• Document service calls thoroughly and accurately.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Job Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years post-high school education preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic skills in using Apple/Android tablets.
• Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with flexibility.
• Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. and use an 8-ft ladder.
• NICET certification and/or fire sprinkler background is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Travel required, primarily remote work.
