S.A. Comunale Co., Inc. is seeking an Inspector Trainee to perform NFPA-based inspections of water-based fire systems, fire alarm systems, and extinguishers. The role requires travel to customer sites and a focus on quality work and customer development.

The position provides hands-on training in NFPA standards, with opportunities to upgrade certifications and advance within a growing mechanical and HVAC services company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational or trade school is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• NICET certification or ability to obtain NICET is required.
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform NFPA-based inspections of water-based fire systems, fire alarm systems and extinguishers.
• Learn NFPA 25/72/10 standards for inspections and document findings.
• Travel to customer sites and coordinate with customers and managers.
• Complete and submit inspection tickets and reports in a timely manner.
• Support upsell of company capabilities to new and existing customers.
• Assist in daily scheduling and field operations.
