The technician will service Portable Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Hood Systems, and Suppression Gas Systems at customer sites, reading blueprints and manuals to install and troubleshoot equipment. The position requires strong communication, organizational skills, and customer-facing problem solving, with PC skills in Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Outstanding customer-facing service and problem-solving skills.
• PC skills including Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook preferred.
• Manufacturer certifications such as ANSUL or Kiddie PyroChem are a plus.
• Valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and repairs on Portable Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Hood Systems & Suppression Gas Systems at customer sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics and manuals.
• Manage daily service call, customer activity and program system products.
• Assist customers with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Participation in an on-call rotation for Emergency Service.
• Performs inspections of Suppression Gas Systems based on contract requirements.
