Job summary

Johnson Controls, a global leader in building systems and safety, is hiring a field service professional to maintain and repair portable extinguishers, hood systems, and suppression gas systems at customer sites.

You will read blueprints, interpret technical documentation, and coordinate service activities while ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with safety standards. Strong communication and PC skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Outstanding customer-facing service and problem-solving abilities.
• PC skills: Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Able to pass drug test, background check, and have a clean driving record.
• Preferred Suppression experience; certifications like ANSUL, Kiddie PyroChem are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and repairs on Portable Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Hood Systems & Suppression Gas Systems at customer sites.
• Service, troubleshoot and install many different manufacturers including Simplex and ANSUL.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics and manuals.
• Manage daily service calls and customer activity and program system products.
