Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to perform service and repairs on Portable Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Hood Systems and Suppression Gas Systems at customer sites across our regional network.

You will read blueprints, troubleshoot, and manage daily service activities to ensure system reliability. The role requires on-call rotation for Emergency Service, strong communication abilities, and solid PC skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Outstanding Customer facing service and problem-solving skills.
• PC skills including Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and repairs on Portable Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Hood Systems & Suppression Gas Systems at customer sites.
• Service, troubleshoot and install many different manufacturers including Simplex and ANSUL.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operation manuals.
• Manage daily service call, customer activity and program system products.
• Work with clean agent systems, dry chemical systems, and special hazards.
