Job summary

Summit Fire & Security in Seattle, WA is seeking a Fire Life Safety Technician to install, inspect, service and repair portable extinguishers, emergency lighting, and pre-engineered suppression systems with minimal supervision. You will work with a team that emphasizes safety, quality, and career growth.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent, NFPA experience, and the ability to travel up to 90%.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• State or required certification preferred.
• 2 Fire Life Safety Industry experience specifically within Fire Suppression.
• 2 years of professional computer skills.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, and maintain portable fire extinguishers and suppression systems.
• Repair or replace components of detection and control systems.
• Use required tools and test equipment to perform work.
• Document work orders and track time on job.
• Follow safety programs and wear PPE at all times.
