Summit Fire & Security is seeking a Fire Suppression Technician to install, inspect, service and repair fire extinguishers, pre‑engineered suppression systems, and Detection & Control components with minimal supervision. The candidate should have 2+ years in the Fire Life Safety industry, be proficient with basic computer tasks, and hold a high school diploma or equivalent; state

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and communicate in English with employees and customers.
• Two Fire Life Safety industry experience in Fire Suppression.
• Two years of professional computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, service and/or repair fire extinguishers, pre‑engineered suppression systems and Detection & Control systems with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot and identify defective components of pre‑engineered suppression systems.
• Repair or replace damaged components of such systems and extinguishers.
• Communicate with customers professionally.
• Be punctual to work locations and complete projects timely.
• Use Field Service Lightning to track work orders, materials, and time on job.
• Complete documentation on work orders.
• Adhere to Safety program, SDS, Hazardous communication, and company policies; participate in toolbox talks.
