Job summary

Metro Fire + Security is seeking a Fire Suppression Technician to service, install, repair, and replace fire suppression systems including kitchen hoods. The candidate reads blueprints, follows manufacturer specs, and communicates clearly with customers while maintaining safety and quality reports.

Training and teamwork are emphasized in a family‑like culture. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid license, and a NM Certificate of Fitness.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License and authorization to work in the USA.
• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to travel to multiple job sites daily and lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, installation, inspection and repairs on fire suppression systems.
• Read blueprints, submittals and manufacturer manuals and identify non‑compliance.
• Advise customers on safety issues and maintain accurate reports and parts inventory.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and stay current with code requirements.
