Job summary

Summit Fire & Security seeks a skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician to lay out, fabricate, assemble and install fire sprinkler systems, and to maintain piping, fixtures and processing systems. The role requires a current fire sprinkler license and 3–5 years of installation experience.

Candidates should be able to read blueprints, work solo or in teams, and uphold safety and quality standards. Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience installing pipe systems and valves.
• Current Fire Sprinkler License required.
• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Advanced technical school training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install pipe systems and valves.
• Cut, thread, assemble and bond piping and tubes according to specifications.
• Modify, clean and maintain pipe systems, units and fittings.
• Remove and replace worn components.
• Follow blueprints to meet product specifications.
• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications.
• Mentor and coach Fire Sprinkler Fitter Apprentices and Helpers on proper installation techniques.
• Ensure company provided vehicle is clean and well maintained in accordance with company policies.
• Other duties may be assigned.
