Job summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Technician to lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain fire sprinkler systems and associated piping in industrial environments. This role requires strong hands-on skills, adherence to blueprints, and the ability to train newer team members on installation techniques.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a current Fire Sprinkler License, and 3–5 years of relevant experience with pipe systems and valves.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or equivalent; advanced technical training or related work experience preferred
• Current Fire Sprinkler License is required
• 3–5 years' experience installing pipe systems and valves; 5+ years preferred

Responsibilities

• Install pipe systems and valves as per specifications
• Cut, thread, assemble and bond piping and tubes per specs
• Maintain and modify pipe systems, units and fittings
• Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
• Mentor apprentices and helpers on installation techniques
• Ensure company vehicle is clean and maintained
