Job summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Technician to layout, fabricate, install, and maintain fire sprinkler systems and associated piping. The role requires strong teamwork, problem solving, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualified candidates will have a HS diploma, current Fire Sprinkler License, and 3–5 years of experience installing pipe systems. Travel may be required; Salesforce and MS Office experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Advanced technical school training or related work experience, preferred.
• Current Fire Sprinkler License, required.

Responsibilities

• Install pipe systems and valves according to specifications.
• Cut, thread, assemble and bond piping and tubes.
• Modify, clean and maintain pipe systems, units and fittings.
• Remove and replace worn components.
• Follow blueprints to meet product specifications.
• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications.
• Mentor and coach apprentices and helpers on proper installation techniques.
