Job summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Technician responsible for laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing and maintaining fire sprinkler systems and piping on commercial projects. This role requires precise workmanship and the ability to follow blueprints.

Candidates should have a HS diploma, a valid Fire Sprinkler License, and 3–5 years of installation experience, with strong math, problem‑solving and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Advanced technical school training preferred.
• Current Fire Sprinkler License required.

Responsibilities

• Install pipe systems and valves.
• Cut, thread, assemble and bond piping and tubes according to specifications.
• Modify, clean and maintain pipe systems, units and fittings.
• Remove and replace worn components.
• Follow blueprints to meet product specifications.
• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications.
• Mentor and coach apprentices on proper installation techniques.
• Ensure company vehicle is clean and well maintained.
