Job summary

Summit Fire & Security in Texas is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Technician to lay out, fabricate, install fire sprinkler systems and maintain piping, fixtures, and industrial processing systems.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, a valid Fire Sprinkler License, and an HS diploma; advanced training is preferred. You will mentor apprentices, follow blueprints, and ensure safety and quality on projects.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required; advanced technical training preferred.
• Current Fire Sprinkler License required.
• 5+ years installing pipe systems and valves preferred; 3–5 years required.

Responsibilities

• Install pipe systems and valves according to specifications.
• Cut, thread, assemble and bond piping and tubes per specs.
• Modify, clean and maintain pipe systems, units and fittings.
• Remove and replace worn components.
• Follow blueprints to meet product specifications.
• Calculate material measurements to verify specs.
• Mentor apprentices and helpers on installation techniques.
