Job summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Technician to lay out, fabricate, assemble and install fire sprinkler systems, and to maintain piping, fixtures and sprinklers in industrial environments.

The role requires strong blueprints reading, math, problem solving and the ability to train apprentices. Local travel may be involved; valid driver’s license is needed and willingness to work in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Fire Sprinkler License required.
• 3–5 years' experience installing pipe systems and valves; 5+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install pipe systems and valves per specifications.
• Fabricate, assemble and install fire sprinkler systems and components.
• Mentor apprentices on proper installation techniques.
• Follow blueprints and verify material measurements.
• Maintain and service piping systems and components.
