Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of fire protection design experience required.
• Engineering background is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Proficiency in Hydratec CAD or AutoSPRINK is required.
• NICET certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft sprinkler designs following NFPA standards.
• Identify building type and appropriate hazard protection.
• Coordinate with other trades on complex projects.
• Estimate design hours and schedule work.
• Produce drawings, hydraulic calculations, and submittals.
• Lead or assist project teams and report status to management.
