Job summary

You will produce hydraulic calculations, select materials, and coordinate pipe drawings, heads, hangers, and other components with field teams and other trades. The role requires AutoCAD and Hydratec CAD proficiency, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work within budgets and project timelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of experience in Fire Protection design is required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Hydratec CAD, and stock listing programs is required.
• NICET Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create sprinkler drawings per NFPA standards.
• Identify building construction type and hazards for protection.
• Coordinate with other trades on non-complex projects.
• Prepare material submittals and project paperwork.
• Lead project tasks and provide status updates.
• Order materials and manage project budgets.
