Job summary

Thomas Mechanical is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and manage commercial and industrial fire sprinkler projects from contract award through final acceptance. You will ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with NFPA standards, local codes, and customer requirements.

The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact between the owner, general contractor, engineers, AHJs, vendors, and field personnel,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing commercial/fire sprinkler projects.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and local codes.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage multiple fire sprinkler construction projects from award to acceptance.
• Review contract documents and drawings to establish scope and identify issues.
• Develop schedules and coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Prepare budgets and monitor labor, materials, and profitability.
• Conduct kickoff meetings and maintain communication with field personnel and stakeholders.
• Coordinate procurement, inspections, and closeout with AHJs and owners.
