Job summary

Mullins Mechanical & Welding, Llc is seeking a Fire Protection Project Manager to oversee fire protection projects from initiation to completion. You will coordinate field technicians, liaise with clients, ensure NFPA/AHJ compliance, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Strong PM experience and knowledge of sprinkler systems are essential. Responsibilities include developing scopes, schedules, budgets, maintaining documentation, and promoting safety while supporting sales growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the fire protection industry, with emphasis on sprinkler systems.
• PM experience in a service-focused environment is preferred.
• NICET Level II+ in Water-Based Systems is preferred.
• Project management certifications (PMP, PgMP, CAPM) are highly desirable.
• Proficiency with project management and scheduling software.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple fire protection projects from start to finish.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, technicians, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Develop scopes, schedules and budgets; track progress and performance.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA codes, AHJ regulations and safety standards.
• Coordinate material procurement, subcontractor scheduling and field service dispatch.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and provide timely billing support.
• Promote a safe working environment and participate in business development activities.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents; provide training on new systems.
