Job summary

RapidFire Safety & Security seeks an experienced Fire Sprinkler Project Manager to oversee all phases of fire protection projects from inception to completion.

This role requires planning, executing, and finalizing projects on time and within budget, while ensuring compliance with NFPA codes and local regulations. You will coordinate with design teams, field crews, subcontractors, inspectors, and clients, lead site safety efforts, manage documentation, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in fire sprinkler system project management.
• Knowledge of NFPA standards (NFPA 13, 14, 20, 25) and local codes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications.
• Experience with estimating, budgeting, and job costing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of fire sprinkler system installation projects (commercial, industrial, residential).
• Coordinate with design teams, field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and proposals to determine time frame, budget, procedures, staffing, and project requirements.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules, budgets, change orders, and submittals.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with local, state, and NFPA codes.
• Conduct regular site visits and meetings to track progress and resolve issues.
• Communicate project expectations clearly to team members and stakeholders.
• Maintain thorough project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and job cost tracking.
• Provide leadership, motivation, and support to field staff.
• Ensure safety practices are enforced on all job sites.
