Job summary

RapidFire Safety & Security is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Project Manager to oversee all phases of fire protection projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will plan, execute, and finalize projects on schedule and within budget while ensuring compliance with codes and regulations.

This position requires technical expertise, leadership, and strong communication skills to coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in fire sprinkler project management.
• Familiarity with NFPA standards (NFPA 13, 14, 20, 25), local codes, and fire department regs.
• Proficiency reading blueprints and technical specs.
• Experience with estimating, budgeting, and job costing preferred.
• NICET certification (Water-Based Systems Layout) desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering is a plus.
• PM training or PMP certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of fire sprinkler system installation projects.
• Coordinate with design teams, field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors.
• Review specs and drawings to determine schedule, budget, staffing, and requirements.
• Prepare and monitor schedules, budgets, change orders, and submittals.
• Ensure on-time completion within scope and NFPA/code compliance.
• Conduct site visits and meetings to track progress and resolve issues.
• Communicate expectations clearly to team and stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and job costing.
• Provide leadership, motivation and support to field staff, enforce safety.
