Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety in Pflugerville, TX is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and support sprinkler projects from kickoff to completion. You will review plans, coordinate materials and schedules, and ensure timely delivery within budget, while collaborating with customers, field teams, vendors, and internal departments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of fire sprinkler experience required.
• 3+ years of project management experience required.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel) required.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred.
• NICET Water Based System certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage new installations of water-based fire sprinkler systems.
• Coordinate plans, materials and schedules to meet timelines and budgets.
• Maintain project documentation and track progress.
• Attend weekly design and project management meetings.
• Coordinate with customers, field teams, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Conduct site surveys, commissioning and owner training.
• Identify scope changes and manage associated costs / change orders.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and national codes; pursue value engineering.
