Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Project Manager to oversee service projects from inception to completion. You will coordinate field technicians, liaise with clients, ensure code compliance, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates bring at least 5 years in the fire protection industry, experience managing sprinkler-focused projects, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum experience in the fire protection industry, with a focus on sprinkler systems.
• Project Management certifications are highly desirable.
• Proven project management experience, ideally in a service-based environment.
• NICET Level II or higher in Water-Based Systems (preferred).
• Proficient with project management and scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project, ServiceTrade).

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple fire sprinkler projects including installations, repairs, maintenance, retrofits, and inspections.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, technicians, subcontractors, and internal departments.
• Develop project scopes, estimates, schedules, and budgets; monitor progress and performance.
• Ensure work complies with NFPA codes, AHJ regulations, and safety standards.
• Coordinate material procurement, subcontractor scheduling, and field service dispatching.
• Maintain accurate records including reports, forms, and customer documentation.
• Assist with troubleshooting and providing solutions for system deficiencies.
• Support sales by identifying service opportunities and giving recommendations.
