Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety in Pflugerville, TX is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Project Manager to lead installations from kickoff to completion. You will review plans, coordinate materials, schedules, and budgets while working with customers, field teams, vendors, and internal departments.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in fire sprinkler systems and 3+ years in project management, with proficiency in MS Office; NICET certification is a plus. This full-time role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of fire sprinkler experience required.
• 3+ years of project management experience required.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related technical field preferred.
• NICET Water Based System certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage new installations of water-based fire sprinkler systems.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national codes and standards, and seek value engineering opportunities.
• Material buyout and product selection.
• Scheduling and labor coordination with office and field personnel.
• Document control, contract scope review, and maintenance of records.
• Attend weekly design and project management meetings.
• Cost management, including changes to project scope and timely billing.
• Assist with Risk Hazard Analyses development and implementation.
• Conduct site surveys, onsite commissioning, and owners training.
• Foster strong relationships with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and colleagues.
• Other duties as assigned.
