Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking a Senior Fire Sprinkler Estimator/Project Manager to organize, manage, and plan complex sprinkler projects across research, development, and implementation. You will prepare proposals, manage timelines and budgets, and coordinate with sales, operations, and design teams.

You will ensure NFPA and local code compliance, lead pricing efforts with suppliers, and deliver accurate estimates under fixed bid deadlines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in fire protection industry, sprinkler focus.
• Proven project management experience, service-based environment.
• CFPS and NICET certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, specs, and drawings to assess scope.
• Calculate material, labor, and equipment costs for sprinkler projects.
• Prepare and present detailed proposals with labor/material/timeline breakdowns.
• Identify components and materials to meet specs and codes.
• Ensure designs/estimates adhere to NFPA standards and local codes.
• Coordinate with suppliers/vendors for pricing.
• Communicate with clients and contractors on requirements.
• Produce timely, accurate estimates for fixed bid dates.
• Apply for permits and submittals.
• Produce status reports and participate in planning meetings.
